The Mondraker Zendit XR is the flagship — the full, uncompromised expression of what Mondraker set out to build when they started the Zendit project over eleven years into their e-MTB development programme. Every component on this bike has been chosen to extract the maximum performance from a platform that's already the most capable Mondraker have ever produced. If you want the best enduro e-MTB they make, this is it.
The Stealth Air Carbon frame is shared across all three Zendit models, but the XR's build kit makes the most of it. At just 3,000g for a painted M/L frame with hardware, it's remarkably light for a full-power enduro e-MTB. Mondraker designed it from scratch around the Avinox M2S drive system — not adapted from an existing platform — and used 6-axis CNC machining for the first time in their carbon frame production process. The result is a frame with a level of precision and refinement that's immediately apparent, from the seamlessly integrated display unit to the moulded internal cable channels.
The Avinox M2S motor is paired with an integrated 800Wh battery that provides the range to match the motor's capability. On the XR, you get the fast 12A GaN charger (508W) as standard — 0 to 75% in roughly 1 hour 30 minutes, and a full charge in just 2 hours 25 minutes. Five fully customisable riding modes (Eco, Auto, Trail, Turbo, and Boost) are managed through the Avinox DP100 touchscreen display or the Avinox Ride app. The system also offers 65W USB-C PD 3.0 fast charging for your devices, digital motor lock with alarm and tracking, and direct integration with Strava and compatible action cameras via the wireless BC100 controllers.
Suspension on the XR is the best Fox currently offer. The Fox Float X2 Factory Kashima rear shock (205x65mm) pairs with the Fox Podium GRIP X2 Factory fork (170mm) up front, both specifically tuned by Fox and Mondraker for the Zendit's revised Zero Suspension kinematics. The suspension has been completely reworked for the Avinox M2S motor's increased output — there's more support and more active suspension action to ensure that extra power gets to the trail. A 27% progression rate, approximately 105% anti-squat at sag, and an anti-rise of around 99% deliver a rear end that pedals efficiently, soaks up the rough stuff, and maintains traction under braking.
The XR's wheelset is a standout: DT Swiss Hybrid HXC 1500 carbon rims with 30mm internal width and anti-pedal kickback technology on the rear hub. SRAM Maven Ultimate brakes — the top of the line — provide immense stopping power with 4-piston calipers, carbon levers, and 220mm front / 200mm rear rotors with sintered pads. The SRAM X0 Eagle AXS T-Type 12-speed drivetrain shifts wirelessly and supports Auto-Shift powered directly from the bike's main battery, so you shift every time — even when coasting.
The RockShox Reverb AXS dropper post keeps the cockpit clean and wireless, paired with the Onoff S9 carbon handlebar and full CNC stem. Like all Zendit models, the XR runs a mixed wheel setup (29" front, 27.5" rear) as standard for precise, playful handling, with full 29" conversion available via a simple lower-link flip-chip. A separate geometry flip-chip offers standard (63.5° head angle, 345mm BB) or low (63.15°, 340mm BB) settings to fine-tune the ride to your trails and preferences.
Five sizes from S to XL with proportional chainstay lengths ensure consistent ride characteristics regardless of frame size. Available in Admiral Blue or Vortex Grey.
