The Z2 Gels are formulated with a specific 2:1:1 blend of three types of carbohydrates designed to provide immediate and sustained energy. Maltodextrin provides immediate energy due to its high glycemic index and rapid absorption. Fructose works through different intestinal transporters, effectively creating additional pathways for carbohydrate absorption when paired with glucose-based carbs.
