This is a Large Tibetan-Knotted Area Rug, designed by Kurt Meinecke for Herman Miller ca. 1998. The piece was hand-tufted by skilled artisans in Kathmandu, Nepal. It was made to order and is of heirloom quality, intended to last for generations. The rug incorporates differing shades of brown, cream and tan. The wool is unbleached, preserving its natural lanolin and character.

This rug measures 5 feet long and 10 feet wide. There are some areas of very light discoloration, but no major stains. Overall, this rug is in very good condition. Please see photos.
