I bought this at an electronics store the other day for about 5000 yen to let my mother listen to music while she was hospitalized. I tried to record with it, but in the end, I repurchased a CD player that could play the CDs my mother already had. Therefore, it's practically unused, but please understand that it has been handled by a person and that I did try to record and play an old tape. I will not accept returns, but I do have the sales certificate for the warranty from the electronics store dated December 14th.
