These beautiful Jacaranda Pods make an elegant tropical addition to biotope and blackwater aquariums. After proper boiling and soaking, the hard casing gradually opens, creating natural crevices and chambers that serve as excellent hideaways for shrimplets and small fish.

Jacaranda Pods are particularly valued by aquascapers who want to introduce authentic botanical structure while keeping tannin release to a minimum. Their surface quickly develops biofilm, making them a natural grazing point for shrimp, plecos, and other bottom-dwelling species.
