The Icemaker Shut-Off Arm is an OEM replacement part for Whirlpool refrigerators. Located within the freezer compartment attached to the ice maker assembly, this lever arm activates the shut-off switch to terminate the harvest cycle once the ice bin is full. Causes relate to cracked or broken lever arms no longer reliably engaging the switch assembly. Mineral scale accumulation may also inhibit smooth operation over time.
