A powerful and enlightening work of art filled with spiritual symbolism from Cleveland based artist Jerome T. White.

It depicts an African American woman sitting, meditating and seeking a higher spiritual mental state to assist her in finding balance and overcoming adversity. Her hands are in the Gyan Mudra position. This position has been used by yogis and other spiritual savants for years to assist them in finding peace, calm, and spiritual progress.

The symbol in the background, known as the Pine Comb, has historically represented human enlightenment, the third eye and also the pineal gland.

The hummingbird represents her soul or mind taking spiritual flight as her chakras align and open.
