HighLite – Ultralight Down Sleeping Bag for Minimalist Missions

The HighLite is an ultralight down sleeping bag designed for backpackers who demand warmth without excess. Every detail maximizes efficiency. At just 16 ounces, it’s one of the lightest fully enclosed sleeping bags in its class.

We built the HighLite with our 0.9 oz ExtremeLite™ shell—an incredibly lightweight, densely woven fabric that keeps weight low without sacrificing durability. Horizontal seams are sewn-through to eliminate excess material, while vertical seams use short netting baffles to allow the 850+ fill power goose down to fully loft.

The trim mummy cut reduces dead air space, helping the bag warm up quickly and retain heat efficiently. It’s built for fastpacking, ultralight summer hikes, or long-distance missions where every gram counts.

A half-length #4 ½ YKK zipper offers easy entry while saving weight, and a down-filled draft tube seals out cold air. With no collar or hood, this minimalist design focuses on core warmth and packability above all else.

Despite its weight, the HighLite punches above its class in performance. It compresses down incredibly small, making it easy to tuck into even the tiniest pack. Ideal for temperatures in the 35–40°F range (or warmer), it’s perfect for high-mileage days, fast-moving trips, or anyone shaving ounces without giving up real insulation.
