USAR Task Force Rigging Kit

This Rigging Kit contains the necessary rope rescue equipment for Urban Search and Rescue operations. It includes the primary rope rescue equipment on most FEMA and USAR requirements lists, and serves as an excellent choice for a truck or engine company that responds to over-the-side rescues or needs a vertical lift capability for trench or confined space rescues.

The equipment provided allows for a main and belay line, mechanical advantage, litter with patient-packaging system, gear for building anchors, AZTEK PROSERIES® LT System, and two of the CMC CLUTCH™ BY HARKEN INDUSTRIAL™ for efficient raising and smooth lowering. Innovative features of the CLUTCH make it ideal for technical rescues including the ratcheting rotating sheave, Anti-Panic brake, force limiting protection, and integrated becket.

Two options of this kit are available based on the desired rope size. The 11 mm (7/16 in) USAR Rigging Kit includes all the items below plus two 11 mm CLUTCH units and two 200 ft lengths of 11 mm Static Pro rope. The 13 mm USAR Rigging Kit includes all the items below plus two 13 mm CLUTCH units and two 200 ft lengths of 12.5 mm Static Pro rope. In addition to the equipment provided in this USAR Rigging Kit, CMC recommends outfitting each team member with the gear in the Technical Rope Rescuer Personal Kit.

Kits come with bags and packs for easy equipment organization, storage, transport, and deployment.
