The glass chimney protects the flame from wind while the spring-loaded candle tube automatically advances the candle as it burns, maintaining a steady, reliable flame for up to nine hours per candle without any adjustment. Lighting is simple: slide the chimney down to expose the wick and strike a match. A side viewing slot lets you monitor remaining burn time without opening the lantern.

Collapsing to just 4.25" for transport, it's compact enough for a canoe pack or backpack side pocket. A carrying handle, hanging hook, and twist-lock base give you flexible setup options at camp, and the aluminium or brass construction is built to last through seasons of backcountry use. Beyond light, the lantern provides gentle warmth and helps reduce condensation inside a tent on cold Canadian nights.
