The Tripp Lite SRWF6U is a rack cabinet that mounts vertically on a wall and provides 6U of standard 19-inch rack space. It solves the common problem of housing network switches, patch panels, and other equipment in rooms where floor space is tight. Because the cabinet projects less than 12 inches from the wall, it fits comfortably in network closets, classrooms, retail locations, branch offices, or any site where a full-size rack would be impractical.
Despite its low profile, the enclosure accepts devices up to 20 inches deep and carries up to 150 pounds of equipment. An extra 2U section is built in for patch panels, allowing you to keep cable terminations close to the active gear. Threaded mounting holes inside the cabinet accept both M6 and 12-24 hardware, so installers can use the fasteners they already keep on hand.
The cabinet is built from steel that has a heavy-duty structure and a black powder-coated finish for durability.
