  Your Dog's Home crate should be tall enough for your dog to stand and sit comfortably, and they should be able to turn around and lie down without folding their paws. However, dog crates shouldn't be too big, as this can make it harder to house-train your dog. 

  How to measure your dog for a Crate

   Measure your dog's length and height while standing and sitting then add 2-4 inches to each dimension.

  Length Measure from the tip of your dog's nose to the base of their tail, but don't include the full length of their tail. Add a few inches for your interior crate dimension.

  Height Measure from the floor to the top of your dog's head or ears while they are sitting. Add a few inches for your interior crate dimension.
