The Gifted Sight

Oakley is a seventeen year old that has lived in many different states, as her mom's job moves them around a lot. It's hard being a new student. But, it is even harder to be a new student that is crazy. Oakley's mom reminds her, regularly, that she is unlike any other kids and that she is crazy. Oakley has episodes in the form of dreams; they are so real and so scary. She sometimes has episodes when she is awake; she sees people no one else can. Oakley never thought she'd find a boyfriend, yet she meets Cale at her new school. Through Cale she learns that her mom has lied to her about being crazy; among other things. Her episodes are more real than dreams after all. With help and practice Oakley can use her gift of sight to help people she has never seen before, and some people she knows. She is able to control her gift to find criminals; from rapists to murderers. Unfortunately her gift comes with a price.
