This temperature probe featuring a penetration tip is suitable for temperature measurements in pastes and semi-solid media and also in liquids and air. Thanks to its NTC sensor element, the probe provides precise temperature measurements with an accuracy of up to +/-0.2 C. The temperature probe features a thin, 2 m long ribbon cable. The ribbon cable can be pushed through narrow openings such as slits in doors or refrigerator seals. Protection class IP 54 means that the temperature probe is protected against spray water. This probes response time t99 (time it takes for the probe to register 99% of the jump in temperature) of 8 seconds refers to measurements in moving water at +60 C. This response time is extended when, for example, measurements are taken in still liquid, pastes or air.
