This is a vintage handcrafted ceramic teapot made in Thailand, circa 1980s–1990s. White ceramic with embossed bamboo stalks and leaves and two hand-painted pink birds. The handle and lid finial both replicate bamboo. The design is on both sides. The form is its most distinctive feature — rounded sides on a rectangular base with a rectangular lid, a silhouette that sets it apart from every conventional teapot on a shelf. Labeled "Handcrafted in Thailand" on the base — maker otherwise unknown. Excellent condition — no chips or scratches. One piece available.
