This bag is made to fit the current generation (2017-present) Surly Karate Monkey perfectly!
In order to make your bikepacking journey even easier, we've chosen our most commonly requested features for these bags:
- Ecopak Ultra 200X Fabric
- Bolt-on (AKA direct-mount) - using our custom-made thumb screws!
- Side Pocket on the left side for phone/wallet/etc.
- Divider and second zipper ("Double Decker") on sizes L, and XL
- Sizes L and XL are made to fit a 3-liter Apidura bladder in the lower compartment
Our bags use #10 YKK molded tooth zippers (non-waterproof). We've chosen non-waterproof zippers because they have incredible durability, and there aren't any coated zips on the market that match these.
All bags are designed and manufactured in our Flagstaff, AZ workshop!
