This is a ‘Superlight’ Recycled Aluminum Chair, designed by Frank Gehry for Emeco in 2004. These examples date to around the same time. The listed price includes one chair, and we have three chairs available for purchase. They are composed of brushed anodized aluminum, and weigh only 9 pounds each. The lightweight shell is connected to the frame by a hinge, allowing it to rock slightly.
Each chair measures 20.47 inches deep, 16.5 inches wide, and 31.8 inches high. They have a seat height of 18 inches. There are some light scuffs and scratches on the frames, but due to the brushed aluminum surface they’re quite innocuous. Overall, these chairs are in very good condition. Please see photos.
