This Stansport® Forged Steel Axe is constructed from a single piece of forged steel that extends from the head to the handle. The whole thing measures at 18” long and features a double-tempered head for added strength, and a 4” cutting edge with flattened reverse head for hammering. We’ve added a shock reduction grip to reduce impact vibrations, and to assure ultimate comfort in use. The included polyester sheath keeps the blade protected from the elements when not in use while also keeping you safe. The sheath also includes a belt loop strap for attaching to your belt or gear straps.
