Slayer’s Night . . . The grimmest night of the year. A night where the wicked nobles purge the land of undesirable elves they have deemed as “unfit for normal society.” Those accused as unfit range from the hardest criminals to the most innocent of elves who were simply targeted for execution because they came under the ugly watchful eye of the Slayers . . . the bloodthirsty watchdogs of the Noble class.The Slayers are a powerful and corrupt organization that deems themselves the “guardians of the people.” They claim to be agents of justice but are truly nothing more than the hired muscle and hitmen for the Nobles. They oppress the working and peasant classes of elves, taking whatever they see fit, kidnapping young elves to fulfill their desires, killing the elderly for sport, and arresting anyone who stands against them.During the Autumn Festival, all those who were arrested during the year are released out into the most dangerous woodlands of Emprya . . . The Blood Woods. The Slayers then drink a special potion of moon leaf that grants them horrific powers and even transforms their bodies into monstrous abominations. With this horrific power, they hunt down the captive elves for sport . . . all while the upper class and Nobles watch via the magical broadcast on their crystal balls. Read more
