Growing Koi require a lot of energy and proteins to develop in an optimal way. Ideally, they are also supported during this period to develop brilliant colors.

Koi Professional Junior has been formulated especially for the requirements of juvenile Koi. It supports healthy, quick growth with plenty of essential, highly unsaturated omega-3 fatty acids, an appropriate protein amount, as well as important vitamins, minerals, and trace elements.

In addition, Koi Professional Junior contains the probiotic Bacillus velezensis (formerly B. subtilis), which is also known as a gut flora stabilizer. By stabilizing the intestinal flora, the animals develop a strong immune system. A healthy intestinal flora also improves the food utilization, and thus supports a quick and even development of the Koi. Due to the improved food utilization, water pollution by ichthyotoxic and algae supporting waste products is considerably reduced.

In addition, it is already possible to create the right conditions for optimal colors. Koi Professional Junior, for example, contains at least 36 mg/kg astaxanthin – a pigment that, in its natural form, has a strong intensifying effect on all body colors. The color separation remains clear and the white zones do not change their color. In addition, astaxanthin is similar to vitamins, strengthens the immune system, is an antioxidant and supports fertility. Only the natural, highly bioavailable variant of astaxanthin is used for sera food. Koi Professional Junior contains krill oil, Haematococcus and Spirulina – all of which are excellent sources of astaxanthin.
