The VIG791 Video Insertion Generator is specifically designed for CATV system troubleshooting and FCC
Proof of Performance testing. The VITS mode will allow test signals to be inserted in the VBI so that testing does not interfere with operation. The insér-tion device allows system connection without channel interruption and dual generation capability provides the ability to generate two signals on separate VBI lines so that complete FCC testing can be done with one setup. The VIG791 provides the special video test signals necessary to speed CATV FCC testing and headend troubleshooting. VIG791 test signals include all of those required to perform the FCC requirements and recommended measurements: Differential Gain, Differentíal Phase, Chroma to Luma Delay, In-channél Frequency Response, Percent Modulation, Video Signal to Noise, and Hum.
