Manual dosing is also straightforward and effective. Optimal phosphorus concentrations generally range from 0.02 to 0.05 mg/L phosphate, with this formula containing 0.117% elemental phosphorus. For balanced nutrient management, use alongside complementary nitrogen supplements to achieve ideal nitrogen-to-phosphorus ratios for reef vitality.

Directions

Beginner:

Use 1/2 cap (2.5 mL) per 160 L (40 US gallons) once a week or as needed to maintain desired phosphorus levels.

Advanced:

The beginner dose raises phosphate by 0.05 mg/L. To target a specific phosphate concentration, apply the formula: 0.31 × volume (L) × desired phosphate increase (mg/L) = volume of product (mL). For example, to raise 160 liters by 0.05 mg/L phosphate, dose 2.5 mL accordingly. (Note: 1 US gallon = 3.8 L.)
