Bring noticeable improvement in plant growth response. This stable, porous clay substrate is rich in iron, so it eliminates the need for laterite supplementation in your planted aquariums. Flourite Black offers the benefits of Flourite Original plus a striking, natural black color that showcases aquarium plants. Mix with existing gravel or use alone as a substrate for best results. Each bag fills about 2" deep in a typical 10-gallon aquarium
Filling Instructions:
Although pre-washed, Flourite™ should be rinsed before use to remove residual dust. Filling tank slowly and dispersing water so that the Flourite™ bed is not disturbed can also minimize dust. Slight initial cloudiness is normal and will clear rapidly (2–12 hours). Use of a Water Clarifier will aid in water clearing. This bag is sufficient for about a 2" deep bed in a typical 10-gallon tank.
