Thanks everyone for the help! I was wondering about this one, and something did not quite seem right about the estate description, but I'm not a jeweler. I am unsure of the date on this piece, but it appears to be an antique piece with onyx, bloodstone, & carnelian of an orange hue. Apparently this is Scottish Agate. The stones appear genuine & have seen some wear & tear, with flea bites & some small breaks apparent. The silver work is extensive & intricate, with embossed patterns all over the front of the brooch.. It has an old fashioned C-Clasp, which may date it to slightly earlier than 1900. This is an estate find in good condition. Thanks for looking!
