SB165 MX 2025

Yeti's SB165 is a mountain bike with zero chill. Tough lines, big jumps and outrageous speeds are what this bike is all about. The SB165 is a bike that thrives on the most chaotic lines where mistakes are not an option and is the bike you want to be on to hit the lines no-one else will ride. As Yeti cycles say themselves - this is the master of the gnariverse.

Introduced to the range a few years ago the big travel SB165 has been adapted to fit the MX wheel standard (29" front / 27.5" rear), squeezing out yet more versatility from the ultimate freerider/race bike. Travel figures of 170mm front and rear, working with Yeti's Switch Infinity system, provide a stable and trustworthy platform for our planets biggest features. The superb suspension and refined geometry  also make for a supremely agile race bike and many a SB165 will be seen at your local enduro event. 

SWITCH INFINITY - 

Switch Infinity utilizes a patented translating pivot that switches direction as the bike moves through its travel. This provides a tailored anti-squat curve while delivering a fine-tuned leverage ratio

Switch Infinity decouples chain forces from suspension forces incredibly effectively. In the beginning and mid-section of travel – when Switch Infinity moves up – a relatively flat and high anti-squat curve ­creates an efficient pedalling platform through the entire pedalling zone. As a result, suspension performs consistently and predictably. When Switch Infinity reverses direction, anti-squat drastically drops for freedom of suspension movement

TURQ and C-SERIES - 

TURQ series Yeti frames are manufactured using their finest carbon layup. The result is the best possible balance of stiffness, compliance and aesthetics (it really is difficult to show in pictures the sublime level of detail put into every Yeti frame).

The C-Series frames are identical in geometry, though use a less complex carbon lay-up. This allows for the C-series to be made available at a lower price. 

New for 2025 the C-Series bikes now come fitted with Fox Factory suspension!
