NT Labs Satus is a valuable new tool for all fish keepers as it quickly establishes and accelerates the maturing of aquarium biofilters. This prevents toxic 'new tank syndrome' providing a safer environment for your fish. Satus contains NT Lab's innovative ‘Satus organism’ capable of rapidly removing ammonia without relying on the traditional, slower nitrifying cycle. Working under both aerobic and anaerobic conditions, the ‘Satus organism’ can also degrade organic compounds which bacteria cannot. Satus has a higher metabolic rate that provides faster breakdown of organic wastes to prevent them building up in the aquarium.
Satus also contains a concentrated unique blend of heterotrophic and autotrophic organisms, including aerobic and anaerobic nitrifying bacteria that rapidly remove harmful ammonia and nitrite by converting them into nitrates, without producing highly toxic hydrogen sulphide. This process prevents toxic ‘new tank syndrome’ providing a safer environment for your fish. Satus is harmless to all aquatic species including plants and cannot be overdosed.
When Do I Use NT Labs Satus?
Satus should be used monthly for improved biofilter function, when introducing new fish, after each filter clean or water change and after treating the aquarium with medication. For best results NT Labs Satus should be used alongside NT Labs Optimus.
How To Use NT Labs Satus?
NT Labs Satus is very simple and easy to use. First calculate the volume of your aquarium in litres so that you can calculate the correct dosage. Shake the bottle thoroughly before use and turn off UV and Ozone equipment for 2 hours. Dose for the full aquarium volume and add directly to the aquarium. If dosage is maintained for the full 7 days, fish and other aquatic species can be added to the aquarium at any point.
