Dr. Shay Thatcher, an Oxford grad and art historian, has spent the last seven years of her life waiting for the right moment to return to the UK. It’s 2008, and she’s finally landed her (sort of) dream job as the associate curator of the British Museum.“Sort of” because Shay’s muse, the Parthenon Marbles, have been stowed away in the British Museum for the past two centuries.
