Description: Purple Tangs originate from the Red Sea to Northern Africa. This is one of the more prized tangs in the marine fish-keeping hobby. They are known by their deep purple color with bright yellow highlights on its pectoral fins and caudal fin. This tang should be fed a balanced diet of both meaty and veggie-based foods. DO NOT mix with other Zebrasoma sp. tangs, unless you're an experienced aquarist that understands the risks of mixing conspecifics.
