TAP Professional Filter Start Gel is specifically designed to establish new biological filters quickly and to provide existing filters with the nutrients needed to encourage the growth of healthy, effective bacteria. Filter Start Gel is essential for new biological filters and for the continued efficiency of existing filters.
DOSE RATES:
For new and existing ponds add 10ml per 150 litres of pond water (a cap full). Monitor Nitrite and Ammonia levels.
Maintenance Dose - Use weekly to ensure pond keeps in optimum condition.
New Filter start-up - Treat daily until ammonia and Nitrite levels are not detectable.
Filter Booster Dose -Use daily for a minimum of 7 days to re-establish filter bacteria.
