Pray On Purpose Vol 1 (Revised): Dealing With Life Issues (Paperback)

<p> </p><p>First and foremost, I have to say that this book is very much needed today. Pray On Purpose Vol. I is a book that should be in every believing Christian's tool bag. This book is very strategic in helping us pray regarding some of the most significant and most important topics and situations in our lives. Dr. Rita covers such topics as abuse, children, past hurts, relationships and several more. Whether we are dealing with or have dealt with any of these topics we all know and have somebody that we care about that as or currently is going through them, some may be going through a combination of more than one. In the military, I had a saying and a motto "what good is knowledge if you only hold on to it for yourself?" It also applies to Christians' today. So many either don't want to share knowledge or be transparent due to either not wanting to seem as though they are genuinely flawed (news flash we all are) or that they are giving up and edge on somebody they perceive as being beneath them. We must change that type of thinking and that selfish and shameful mindset. We need to help, empower, uplift and support one another (Hebrews 13:16, Proverbs 3:27 and Romans 15: ) Dr. Rita is as transparent as they come not just giving us a blueprint in prayer on how to help us with certain situations by going to our Father in prayer but showing that she speaks from experience. By us being transparent, sharing our experiences and how we endured and made it through situations, we can help others that are dealing with the same thing and felt as though there was no hope and that they were alone when they are not alone at all. It gives them confidence and lets them know that there are others and that if others made it through so can they.</p>
