Rubin "Binney "Gale, a local club fighter is overcome with grief when his son is killed. Kicked out of the gym, labeled washed up, his life and career is turned around one night in the cemetery, while visiting his son's grave he meets an old man The stranger offers to train Binney, but Binney is troubled, because the old man and the boxers in his gym have been dead for decades.
