P&H - Leo HV

A cruising sea kayak that earns its place between the Scorpio and Virgo in the P&H lineup, the Leo HV is designed for paddlers who want generous stability, a spacious cockpit, and a full feature set in a manageable 16-foot hull. The high-volume version is sized for larger paddlers who want room to move and the confidence that comes with a stable, predictable platform on day trips and coastal explorations.

Drawing influence from both the Scorpio and Virgo, the Leo HV delivers impressive primary stability that transitions intuitively into solid secondary stability when conditions demand it. Moderate rocker keeps the hull manoeuvrable in surf and responsive on longer journeys, and the spacious cockpit ergonomics make multi-hour paddles on Canadian lakes and coastlines genuinely comfortable rather than something to endure. Three hatches come standard, with a bow mini hatch included on the CoreLite X build and available as an option on MZ3, giving you flexible gear storage for anything from a day trip to an overnight run.

A compass recess, split paddle recesses, full deck lines and bungees, and an optional Silva 70P compass and sail system round out a thoroughly equipped sea kayak. The Leo HV is available in MZ3 for excellent value and impact resistance, or CoreLite X for a stiffer, lighter, more responsive hull with Skudder compatibility.
