RICCARDIA sp (PELIA MOSS) is a hardier and more robust type of moss. Its texture issimilar to Susswassertang, but more wiry and comparable to a scrubber pad. Due to its durability, it is easier to contain and maintain.

Compared to other mosses such as Taiwan or Flame moss, Pelia Moss is denser and less flowy. This makes it a great option for tanks with fish that may nibble on plants, as it can withstand their foraging.

Whether in low or high light, this plant is adaptable. However, it prefers moderate temperatures and may not thrive in extremely high temperatures above 82 degrees.

Also perfect for the aquascapers that may wish to try a loose portion on some driftwood, stone, decorations etc. Try your hand at a a Bonsai Driftwood tree.

This order is for one clump of Pelia Moss, roughly as much as I can cram (gently) into a 2oz deli cup. It's about a golf ball or so. Measured in volume, not weight!

As I like to keep real ecosystems in my aquariums, there’s always a chance of harmless hitchhikers like snails or dwarf shrimp tagging along with your plants!

I personally keep several beneficial snail species in my tanks, including Colorful Ramshorns, Bronze Bladder and Pond Snails, Mini Rams, and Malaysian Trumpet Snails. These snails stay relatively small, help clean the aquarium, and do not eat healthy plants or cause harm. However, if you’d rather avoid any hitchhikers, I highly recommend checking out our blog on how to safely disinfect aquarium plants before adding them to your tank:
How to Bleach Dip Aquarium Plants Safely

All plants are freshly snipped or harvested and packed right before shipment. I take great care in preparing every order and use methods that have consistently produced the best results over many years in the hobby. A lot of love goes into every package, so please don’t leave your plants sitting in a hot mailbox for too long 🙏

Thank you for looking, aqua friends! 💚
