This is a Tulip Pedestal Coffee Table, Model 162TR, originally designed in 1956 by Eero Saarinen for Knoll. The listed price includes one table, and we have two available for purchase. These particular pieces were produced in 2016. Their bases are formed of molded cast-aluminum which has a white satin finish, and their tops are made of white matte laminate. The design is finished with a beveled edge, giving the piece its iconic side profile. The KnollStudio logo and signature of Eero Saarinen are present on a metal tag affixed to the underside of the tabletops.
Each table measures 35.75 inches in diameter and is 15.25 inches high. The white laminate tops are in very good condition, as is the white paint on their bases. There are some light scuffs on the bases, and some scratches on the undersides. Overall, these tables are in very good condition with some light wear apparent. Please see photos.
