Description: This fish has one of the coolest personalities for a reef or peaceful aquarium. They are characterized by their yellow head on a white body that turns into an iridescent blue color, towards the tail. This fish likes to form its own territory and burrow a tunnel in the sand. The Pearly Jawfish will appreciate a thick (at least an inch) and established sand bed. They are proven to be very good jumpers, so a tightly fit, secure lid is a MUST. They hail solely from the Caribbean. They are good fish for an intermediate aquarist.
