The stable is carved from a single branch of an olive tree and the retained bark gives the manger scene a lovely rustic look. Each of the individual pieces of the nativity has been hand carved and is permanently fastened to the manger log.
Handcrafted in Bethlehem from the finest olive wood, this Nativity comprises Mary, Joseph, Jesus (in the manger), one ox, and one donkey. A star is overhead representing the star in Matthew 2 that guided the wise men to the newborn king.
