It offers the possibility of anchoring at different distances without compromising the total strength of the personal tether. The individual resistance of each loop is 22 kN, the same as that of the rope as a whole.
The tether has cinchless technology (patented by Fixe). It is a constructive system that allows the multi chain strap to be attached to the two tying points of the harness (waist and legs) without strangling the assembly and improving comfort. The personal tether can also be placed with the conventional girth hitch system. In addition, a colour code serves to differentiate, from the rest of the set, the loop that must be tied to the harness and the loop at the end of the chain.
Taking care of every last detail, the side seams of the rings that make up the personal tether are finished off to prevent them from getting caught when carrying out maneuvers in anchoring, with carabiners, etc.
Variable distance personal tether, with a length of 60 cm, composed of a chain of sewn strap loops. Made of polyamide and HMPE (ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene). The HMPE component provides exceptional lightness and resistance to the whole piece.
Its versatility allows it to be used in multiple mountain activities, such as multi-pitch climbing or mountaineering. With this personal anchor tether, we can comfortably anchor ourselves, adjusting the length; mount the braking device to carry out a rappel at the most convenient point of the kit; or anchor ourselves to the wall at certain times during the climb, for example.
