This is a Round Tray Top Table in Teak, Model 4508, designed by Hans Engholm and Svend Åge Willumsen for Fritz Hansen in Denmark in 1958. The design incorporates a round removable tray top with a foldable four-legged stand. This piece was retailed at a store named Illum Bolighus, a large interiors store in Copenhagen, and retains the plaque to indicate this as its distribution point.
This table measures 23.5 inches in diameter and is 17 inches high. The piece shows myriad scratches and scuffs throughout, and it shows signs of use on the top. We can have this piece fully refinished for an additional fee if so desired. Overall, the table is in good condition. Please see photos.
