Miele B 990 E Rotary Iron

With a wealth of standard features, the Miele rotary iron delivers a professional grade ironing experience. Though the rotary iron has design features comparable to much larger, industrial machines, it has been designed specifically for home use and requires a standard, 120V outlet. Complete with a clever fold-away mechanism and wheels, it can easily be stored in many places when not in use.

Easy Folding: completed work is automatically deposited on the laundry shelf beneath the roller in even, soft folds. With ample space between the shelf and the roller, you can press larger items.

Comfortable Ironing: sit and iron with plenty of extra leg room. Gently press the wide foot control bar and the heater plate contacts the roller which begins to rotate, leaving your hands free to guide the laundry smoothly and accurately.

Three Temperature Settings: users choose an appropriate temperature from the temperature selector, which is marked with dots and fabric controls corresponding with the international fabric care symbols for ironing. Whether it be synthetics, silks, or cottons, the Miele rotary iron can handle any job.

Finger Guard: this special safety feature ensures that if during the ironing process, your fingers come too close to the hotplate, a safety switch will stop the roller rotation and lift the heater plate off the roller.

Variable Roller Speed: the speed of the roller can be set to one of five speeds to suit the type of laundry being ironed and the individual's working speed.

Fold Away Design: four rollers allow the rotary iron to quickly and easily be moved wherever you need to do your ironing. When folded away, that iron requires minimal floor space, or 2.4 square feet.
