Auction for 1/74 #05001 Martin MB-2 Bomber open model kit.
1. Glencoe Models #05001 Martin MB-2 bomber model kit, 1988. Model is open but complete. Has decals for the 96th Bomb Squadron & 11th Bomb Squadron. Aircraft made famous in 1921 when six bombers commanded by General Billy Mitchell sank the target dreadnought, "Ostfriesland" in 25 minutes.
Model shows normal wear/tear associated with age/storage. Model is open. Box shows slight creasing, bowing. Parts are still on sprue (some loose) sealed in plastic, complete with directions and decals.
