Lyons Metallophone Diatonic Bass

The Lyons Orff metallophones are designed with both quality and economy in mind. These instruments begin with a chambered wood box enhancing tone. Hand-lathed and hand-tuned aluminum tone bars combine a bright sound with steady overtones. Each bar has the note name engraved at the top for easy identification. All diatonic units include two F# and one Bb bar to allow your students to play in various keys. Bell mallets are included.<br> <br> The note range for the Bass Metallophone is C3 to A4 and includes Add-on bars F#3, Bb3, and F#4. This allows the key signatures of C, F, and G major to be performed.<br> <br> The note range for the Alto Metallophone is C4 to A5 and includes Add-on bars F#4, Bb4, and F#5. This allows the key signatures of C, F, and G major to be performed.<br> <br> The note range for the Soprano Metallophone is C5 to A6 and includes Add-on bars F#5, Bb5, and F#6. This allows the key signatures of C, F, and G major to be performed.<br><br>
