Smart is the newest, and maybe most revolutionary, addition to Luxilon’s world famous selection of polyester strings. Essentially taking the place of M2 Pro, Smart is on the softer side for a polyester string just one rung up the ladder in terms of stiffness from the ultra soft Element, but that is only part of the story.
The characteristic that allows this string to stand out is that it reads your swing and adapts to it shot by shot. As you swing faster the fibres within the polymer material stiffen up to provide control but on touch shots, or those where your swing speed is slower, the string remains loose providing extra feel or added power.
Designed with the modern big hitting player in mind, Smart is recommended to be strung around 40lbs or 18kg in tension.
