Lunar Lumin EGG lamp

An ostrich egg hangs lightly within a sculptural wooden frame, casting a soft, diffused glow. The egg is gently topped with a turned cap and supported by a vertical maple wooden structure.

Each shell is carefully hollowed and cleaned before being transformed into a light-filtering shade. When lit, it gives off a warm, moon-like light—ideal for winding down in the evening.

The design traces back to a family trip to South Africa, where an unassuming ostrich egg was brought home and tucked away in a closet. Nearly a decade later, it was rediscovered and transformed into a glowing prototype—marking the beginning of the Lunar Lumin series.
