Born from an artistic residency spanning Tuscany, Vienna, and Gdynia, this piece merges 20th-century Viennese architectural silhouettes into a single form using 3D modeling, cast in wild clay gathered across each site. The work reflects a deep family history of migration, mirroring the material logic and story of the LUMA lamp. However, this vase has its own unique origin: when a 3D print emerged far smaller than intended, a mold was made from the mistake to practice cuts and seams. What began as a technical workaround beautifully evolved into a distinct piece in its own right—from lamp to vase.
