Ludwigia Repens

Ludwigia Repens is an easy aquarium stem plant that provides beautiful pops of color to a planted aquarium. Ludwigia Repens typically retains its reddish hues without too much finicking, making it a great introduction into keeping red aquarium plants. Leaf coloration will range from green to orange and red depending on the environment in which it is grown. Like most aquarium stem plants, Ludwigia Repens is a prolific grower once it is happy in the aquarium and will require regular pruning to keep its growth under control. A great addition to all aquascape layouts or when used in a Dutch Style planted aquarium.

The installation of a pressurized CO2 system is not required, but is favorable in promoting quicker, more robust growth in the planted tank. Propagation is easy and this plant may be trimmed anywhere along its stem and replanted into quality aquarium soil intended for aquatic plant propagation.
