'BLACK LIVES MATTER' is a protest against the rules imposed on black people, against the death penalty for breaking those unjust rules, against the torture to make black people confess the crime, they have not committed, against the suffocating the black suspect to death, by pressing the white's knees on the black's neck. This protest is against the boundaries between the black and the white, against the inequalities of rights and responsibilities, against the unequal punishment for inappropriate use of rights and responsibilities on the two sides of this boundary. When the whole world is vocal against the inequalities of rights and responsibilities on two sides of a boundary, we need to observe other boundaries between two classes of people as well. We also need to look at the boundaries between the rich and the poor, the men and the women, the married and the unmarried, the local people and the foreigners, the educated and the illiterate, the upper caste and the lower caste, the young and the old. People on either sides of each of these boundaries need appropriate rights and responsibilities to earn their living, to enjoy lives. Not only BLACK LIVES MATTER but EVERY LIFE MATTERSThe novel 'LIVES MATTER' starts with a stealthy escape of Kireeti, a tired soldier of life, from his residence, which seems to him no better than a prison. The fiftieth anniversary of his imprisonment is not far away. Only after a few days, Subhadra will celebrate their Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary which means Kireeti will be forced to mimic love only to please the onlookers.To the readers, this stealthy escape might appear to be for a selfish motive. Yes, indeed Kireeti is flying away to save his self, because Subhadra does not care for what he likes, for what Kireeti has been fighting so long. He won't ever achieve what he wants, if he continues to live with Subhadra, he would never be allowed to share his sorrows with her and eventually he would look for a way to end his life. After Kireeti's escape, we would look back at various dates of his life, what happened and how the course of his life was changed. We will review his fight against boundaries - against the borders between countries of the world, boundaries between married families, boundaries between the married and the unmarried, boundaries between the partners of the same family; because each partner tries to enslave the other partner in the same family.Kireeti dreams - each person is a child of the World; the World belongs to all her children - all persons. All sons and daughters of the World have rights to live in any country and earn living by serving in the country, they live in. As per Kireeti, when the tradition of marriages was started, the marriage between one man and one woman was necessary, because of physical, social and economic necessities. But those necessities no longer exist, Women are allowed to be educated and self-reliant. Burning of widows has been abolished; widows are remarried again. But are marriages required at all? Marriages foster corruption and domestic violence because of dowry systems and other forms of bargaining. The married people get advantages over unmarried people in form of tax benefits, childcare and healthcare benefits.Are marriages necessary only for producing children? The young people of today are freezing their sperms and eggs in the hospital bank and getting sterilised. They don't need to produce children before eggs get exhausted at the age of 45 or so. Later on, when persons are established in life and decide to raise and rear children, they would have options to do so via IVF. Till that time they may enjoy sex, without marrying anyone, no unwanted child would be born. There is no need to marry someone and enslave that person, unless there is a need to stay together with another person. The hostel life is liked by most people during college days. Sterilised people will enjoy hostel life during their working career as well.
