Live Organic Mealworms

Live Organic Mealworms are provided by our partnership with our neighbors Hive Queen Insects.  Because insects must be shipped separately from frozen items, shipping will be calculated at checkout and adjust depending on items in your cart.  

NEW: We feed our worms a high calcium diet found to drastically improve the nutrition profile of mealworms for most common reptile species (see this study for details!).  This means these mealworms compare much more favorably to the popular healthier Dubia roaches!

Our mealworms are never sprayed with hormones or chemicals, and are fed a diet of organic wheat bran and carrots.

• We guarantee our mealworms will arrive happy and healthy.
• Please ensure you are keeping track of your order arrival time.
• Please retrieve the package from your mailbox or porch ASAP if the weather is too hot or too cold.
• Our mealworms are shipped live, so they will easily bake in the hot sun or freeze in winter temps inside your mailbox if left for too long.

- We 'up-cycle' across our business practices: We try to re-use as much as possible. For small mealworm orders, we repurpose take-out containers to store your worms (thoroughly washed, of course), and for our larger orders, we use fabric bags handmade from old (but clean) donated sheets. We suggest you immediately put your large mealworm order in a plastic container when you receive them, as they are capable of chewing through fabric if left for too long!
