I purchased this at a LEGO outlet store, Click Brick, about 20 years ago. The box has some damage and was repaired with tape, and it was sold at a discounted price. The price tag from that time is still attached. Please check the photos.
Although the box has been repaired with tape, the set is unopened.
Unopened sets are quite rare, I believe.
