Crafted from antique textiles, featuring hand embroidered detailing which gives a soft and delicate pattern to the lampshade and casts a warm dappled light into the room.
The Prairie Lampshades are hand made in the UK and have been crafted to showcase the characteristics of each piece of fabric.
The base diameter is 40 cm and the shade has a standard gimbal fitting with a removable reducer ring ~ so they’re suitable for UK and EU lamps.
This collection has been made from fabrics of English, French and Irish origin, which date back to the 18th century. Each one is subtly unique and may vary slightly from the image. Given the age of these materials, some imperfections may be seen, adding to the charm of these one-of-a-kind pieces.
