K2 Instrument 2025

The 2025 K2 Instrument is one of the best boards available if exactly what you are looking for is a fun, versatile board with a unique shape and tons of tech. This volume shifted board is shaped perfectly so that is can still carve with the best of them thanks to its longer radius, allowing it to really dig in and rail turns while still having enough setback and taper to float effortlessly in any depth of powder. Add plenty of other tech to give you a damp, responsive feeling underfoot and responsive power transfer and you get a tool which can completely take over any mountain in its way.

Camber Type: Directional Camber Profile

The board offers the best of both in terms of board profiles. Blending both traditional camber and rocker, you get the best of both worlds; the pop, stability, and precision of camber, and the float and predictability of rocker.

Flex: 7/10 (1 = soft / 10 = stiff)

A mid-stiff flex that is poppy and stable at speed.

Shape: Directional

The Excavator has a directional shape so it wants to ride forwards and forwards only.

Core: S1 Core

Created to be more damp underfoot and incredibly strong, the S1 core is constructed from Bamboo, Aspen, and Paulownia. Tip to tail Bamboo add snap, durability, and damping underfoot is balanced by lightweight Paulownia in the middle, tip and tail of the board. Aspen and Bamboo are placed at 30 degree angles to increase strength and add response underfoot.

ICG 10 Biax Glass with Carbon

Integrating tip to tail carbon fiber stringers into fiberglass lay-ups ensures a smooth power release in and out of turns while increasing pop, liveliness, and longevity of the snowboard without adding unnecessary rigidity.

Carbon Torque Forks

Carbon fiber stringers in a V-shape found within the tip and tail, extending down to just outside the inserts add pop, response and stability.

Base: Sintered 4000 Base

A fast base that absorbs wax deep into the material for relentless glide and unrivalled durability.
